Possum Kingdom Lake Real Estate Snapshot
Possum Kingdom homes range from older cabins and weekend places to large custom homes and luxury estates in communities like The Cliffs. Price depends on the water: deep water at the dock, a big view and a gentle walk to the shoreline sell at a premium, while steep lots and shallow coves usually cost less. For current prices and new listings, see the live listings at the bottom of this page.
Docks, Permits and the BRA
The Brazos River Authority manages Possum Kingdom Lake. Docks, boathouses and other structures on the water need a BRA permit, and an existing permit is transferred to the new owner at closing. We confirm the permit before you buy.
Private buoys are not allowed on the lake, and septic, water and road access all vary from cove to cove. We check each of these on every property.
